Curating Experiences

Curating Experiences

Whether curating for public events or private collections, creating opportunities for connecting artists and collectors has been a passion of mine since I first started working with art. Back in 2009, before everything was “curated” and every one was a “curator,” the word “curate” itself was reserved for institutional settings and the art world elite. It was at this time, I began organizing artists and locating venues to present their artwork without the outright goal of becoming a curator. Curating came naturally as a way to provide platforms and opportunities for artists and I’ve been refining my practice as a curator ever since. Combining art, music, and community are one of the ways I am able to present art to new audiences in both traditional and nontraditional venues. By choosing art that deeply inspires and by  providing uplifting experiences to connect with art, I express my own creativity and offer connections to stories told within art.
